HUNTINGTON - Huntington High players could be heard celebrating from the press box at Spring Valley on Friday night, "2-0, 2-0," celebrating a win over a rival who came from nowhere in 2011 to pull victory from the jaws of the Highlander players. Huntington scored first, ran up over 300 yards of total offense and generally dominated the game from start to finish with a 17-0 shutout of the Timberwolves at the Wolves Den on Friday night.
